Graduate Opportunities

We offer entry level candidates with limited post graduation experience (6 – 24 months) the opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals in all facets of the business. From day one you will be immersed in the business under the guidance of senior colleagues. An “on-the-job” training programme is coupled with a structured development programme as we seek to equip you with industrial knowledge and broaden your commercial understanding. Tailored to your individual abilities and personal aims, you will be given the possibility to pursue a commercial career as either a trader, a traffic operator or a deals desk analyst.

Our main focus of business growth today is centred around our head office for metals in Lucerne, Switzerland and our Shanghai office which services the key Chinese market. Today approximately 250 people are working in these two offices. We actively encourage candidates studying in Europe and wishing to work in Shanghai to apply for roles in Lucerne. We have an active programme to train you in a head office environment before relocating to Shanghai to take up challenging positions.

The successful candidate will be educated to degree level (min 2:1 or equivalent) and demonstrate excellent numerical and verbal skills. The ability to communicate fluently in English is essential, additional languages are an advantage, especially Mandarin, French and Spanish.
